It's not mouse problem definitely. I cant click on some part of screen when multiple apps are opened, but it works when I minimize all and open just one app. Following the solution.

Everything would be fine and all of a sudden mouse wouldn't "activate any of the windows" Sometimes it works on the application that's on the foreground, I can click, right-click everything works but the mouse literally won't be able to get any other window to respond. Alt-Tab to bring another application to the foreground sometimes works, sometimes doesn't - the application simply wouldn't want to come to the foreground.
And I believe that's the inherent issue. Mouse not clicking is a symptom, not the disease. This solves my problem every single time. I have tried reinstalling VMware Workstation, recreating the preferences.
